Right Path Bookkeeping is a one-person practice, which means when you work with me, you get me. Not a junior associate, not a rotating team. Me. Fully invested in your business, your goals, and your success.
My path has taken me through several states — Georgia, Texas, and New Jersey — before I settled in Alabama back in 1992. After years in Pinson and then Locust Fork, I made Cullman home in 2021, where I live with my husband. I started bookkeeping part-time because I wanted to help someone succeed in their business — I love helping people, and this was one way I found to do it. My first client was my husband's business, Twisted Metals Iron Works — for nine years, I handled everything: accounts payable, receivable, reconciliation, and tax prep. That's where I first proved to myself, I could do this well, long before I ever thought about building a business of my own.
After 22 years in corporate America, my employer offered me the opportunity to relocate to Texas. It was a generous offer, and I'm grateful for it — but it would have meant moving away from family I wasn't willing to leave behind. So instead, I saw it as the push I needed to finally build something of my own, something I'd been dreaming about for years. That's how Right Path Bookkeeping was born.
Based in Cullman, I work with small businesses throughout North Alabama — including Blount County, Huntsville, Madison, and Athens.
Behind every set of books is a person with a dream, a family to support, and a livelihood to protect. That's what motivates me every single day.
Your needs come first. Every service, every conversation is shaped around what your business actually needs — not a package template.
No judgment, ever. Behind on your books? Let's fix it together. I'm here to solve problems, not point fingers.
Custom pricing, always. Rates depend on your accounts, transactions, and complexity — because your business is unique and your investment should reflect that.
Your win is my win. When you succeed, grow, or breathe a little easier — that's the reward that drives everything I do.
